Hello Everyone. If you have not taken a drive thru Cedar Lake lately then now would be the perfect time. New Homes are being built everywhere and things are hopping in this town.
I lived here when I was a small girl and then moved and came back 4 years ago.
It is great here. The changes are wonderful. New families are moving in all over and the people here are great. The Chamber is doing a great job getting the information out to the people that request it. I am looking forward to 2007 being a productive year for this town.
Happy New Year Everyone

MS Office Tips
PowerPoint images give your Word reports real powerYou live in PowerPoint and pride yourself on your expertise, but now you must deliver a written report and your boss pressures you to use Microsoft Word. You can satisfy your boss' demands for Word and deliver a top-notch presentation by inserting a presentation into a Word document. To enhance your next written report, we'll: • Insert a presentation into a document and choose the insertion option that works best for you. • Customize text wrapping and the graphical representation of your slide show to maximize impact. • Show you how to launch, view, and exit the inserted slide show from within your Word document for seamless integration.
Insert your slideshow
Once you complete your PowerPoint presentation, inserting it into a Word document is a simple process. To do so:1. Open your Word file and place your insertion point where you want the presentation. 2. Select Insert Object to open the Object dialog box and click on the Create From File tab.3. Click the Browse button and navigate to and select your presentation. Click Insert. The path and name appear in the File Name text box, as shown in Figure A.Before you apply the presentation to the Word doc, customize the insert options to match your needs
